Hospital

HIEs across the nation face a multitude of challenges. Among those most significant is the absence of timely business intelligence tools and clinical analytics which incorporate patient data from beyond a siloed hospital. Having access to the HIE, therefore more complete patient records, allows hospital decision makers to drive down readmissions, positively impact utilization while more proactively engaging patients, and evaluate inefficiencies in workflow in ways not previously available. Having access to all the clinical data from the ACO, and therefore more complete patient records, allows decision makers to more effectively drive down readmissions, favorably impact utilization while more proactively engaging patients, and improve quality.
